Application and web development, fixed price or dedicated team

Business applications, portals, APIs, legacy overhaul. Java, .NET, Python, Node, React, Angular. We work on your existing codebase with your conventions, your CI and your review rules.

Model
Fixed price or embedded
Duration
4 to 20 weeks
Expected outcomes
A scope delivered at the announced price, with no surprise change order
Expected outcomes
A codebase your internal teams can take over the day after acceptance

Who it is for

  • IT departments that must ship a backlog faster than internal capacity allows
  • Mid-market companies with a critical business app nobody understands any more
  • French SaaS vendors of 20 to 200 people needing team extension
  • Buyers who have a specification and want a firm price

Who it is not for

  • Assignments shorter than 15 days
  • Projects with no technical counterpart on the client side
  • Video game development or safety-critical embedded work

Deliverables

  • Frozen, signed functional specification before development, with explicit exclusions
  • Code delivered in your repository, on your branches, with your commit conventions
  • Test coverage agreed up front and verifiable in CI
  • Architecture decision records for every structural choice
  • Deployed staging environment with an anonymised test dataset
  • Joint acceptance report
  • 90-day corrective warranty after go-live

How it runs

  1. 01

    Framing workshop

Three to five days with your business owners and architect. Output: frozen scope, mockups, interface contract, exclusion list. That document is what sets the price.

  2. 02

    Delivery in batches

Two-week sprints, demo on a real environment at the end of each. You watch it run rather than read a progress report.

  3. 03

    Joint acceptance

You test against the acceptance cases written during framing. Each defect is classified blocking or not against a grid defined up front, not by argument.

  4. 04

    Go-live and warranty

Assisted cutover, written rollback plan, then 90 days of corrective warranty on the delivered scope.

How the assignment is structured

Three ways to engage this service. The figure is set at the end of framing, once the scope is written: it is the only way to commit firmly without pricing in a risk you would end up paying for.

Fixed-price framing

fixed price, 1 week

You have a need but not yet a specification

  • Workshops with business owners
  • Functional specification and mockups
  • Target architecture with argued technical choices
  • Firm quote for the development

Fixed-price project

fixed price, frozen scope

Known scope, budget to secure

  • Development of the specified scope
  • Unit and integration tests
  • Staging environment
  • Joint acceptance
  • 90-day warranty

Dedicated team

time and materials, 3-month minimum

Moving backlog, steering kept in-house

  • Confirmed or senior developers
  • Embedded in your rituals and CI
  • Weekly progress reporting
  • Replacement within 10 business days on mismatch

Frequently asked questions

What happens if the scope changes mid-project?

A priced change order, signed before a single line is written. We never invoice a scope change after the fact. That is also why framing is sold separately: it makes the scope precise enough that change orders stay rare.

Who owns the intellectual property?

You do, entirely, as each milestone is paid. The assignment is written into the master agreement and covers code, documentation and intermediate deliverables. We keep no usage or reuse rights.

Do you work on undocumented legacy code?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. The first assignment is then a takeover audit: dependency mapping, identified and prioritised debt, characterisation tests written before any change. Expect two to four weeks depending on size.

Other services

Twenty minutes is enough to know whether we are useful

No sales deck. You describe the need, we say whether it is in scope, at what price and on what timeline. If it is not for us, we say so during the call.
